Nationals - CHANGE OF DATE

CHANGE OF DATE:     

The 2021 Zephyr National Championships will now be held 8th - 12th April 2021.

This shifts the regatta by one week from the initial dates to keep the racing in April.

The ZOA has received notice from Harold Bennett, Vice Commodore of Manly Sailing Club, that the event is being shifted by one week to accommodate for Auckland City Council's requirements for the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon; the initially planned dates of the regatta clashing with the back-up date for the triathlon.

This means the National Champs will now be held a week earlier than anticipated, with registration and measuring on Thursday 8th April, with racing from Friday 9th - Monday 12th April. 

Hopefully arrangements can be altered to suit this, and it would be helpful if this notice could please be circulated by those reading to ensure all sailors are aware and can make changes to their plans with as much notice as possible. 

We'd like to thank sailors in advance for your flexibility and understanding, and the organising committee at Manly Sailing Club for a quick response upon receiving this news today to ensure a regatta can be sailed.
